  • When you become a Bonafide student or staff of LASU;
  • When you activate your online profile account

  • Via explicit data capture measures, e.g. by filling in forms during online admission screening; and

How LASU-IDC uses information provided by you

We will only disclose personal data to third parties if this is required for the purpose of completing your request with us, e.g. Transcript request(s), certificate verification, etc. This is subject to the proviso that we may disclose your data to certain permitted third parties, such as members of LASU Management team, LASU-IDC Technical/support team, University legal and professional advisers who are bound by confidentiality codes, and when we are legally obliged to disclose your data. There may be occasions when we are legally required to provide access to our database in order to co-operate with Law Enforcement Angency investigations or other legal proceedings. In those instances, the information is provided solely for that purpose.

LASU-IDC retains and uses your personal information to provide you with the best academic and allied reporting service to give you a report(s) in response to your request. We may also use the information to process any transactions you undertake with us and for internal administration and analysis.
